Boys Cricket Team Reach County Finals

We travelled down to Cheddar taking in the sites of Cheddar Gorge on our journey.The boys were drawn against Fairfield Middle School it was an extremely windy day and we were chosen to bowl first. In difficult bowling conditions the boys all bowled well with the pick of the bowlers being Charles M in Year 8 reducing the hosts to 68 runs. Our batsmen started well against a strong bowling attack. We scored 53 in our 8 overs but still managed to qualify for the county finals due to our excellent run rate. The next stop is the County finals in Weston Super Mare.
