U14 Football Tournament at Somervale School

On Wednesday 18^th January, the St Mark’s Under 14 football team travelled to Somervale School for a regional tournament.

Despite some bitterly cold temperatures this did not stop the girls from participating to their full potential and playing with faultless enthusiasm and commitment. They played four games in total against Chew Valley, Hayesfield, Ralph Allen and St Gregory’s. There was some excellent goal keeping from Tazmin R and Ellie S and all matches were exceptionally close.

The team were a credit to the school and I look forward to the year ahead, please keep working hard!
