Year 7 Sculpture at Alice Park

Working in partnership with Alice Park Community Garden, our Year 7 students

have been working on a new and exciting art installation inspired by the recent willow exhibition at Bath’s Holburne Museum. The project was funded thanks to an Arts Microgrant from Bath and North East Somerset Council and in collaboration with a local artist.

Students studied the vital role that bees play in our eco system under expert guidance from willow artist, Maya Wolf. They used their skills and knowledge to create giant willow bees that have been permanently installed in the Alice Park Community Garden. The project has been both educational and hugely rewarding for the students involved.
