The Key Stage 3 basketball team travelled to Wellsway School to take part in a basketball tournament with Wellsway, St Gregory’s and Chew Valley schools.

In our first game we played St Gregory’s who proved to be too strong on the day, eventually beating us 22-8. We then played Wellsway and produced some excellent basketball eventually beating them 26-6.

In our final game we played a close match with Chew Valley. The scores were tied with two minutes to go and Chew Valley scored in the dying seconds to win 14-12. Well done to all the boys that played! Man of the tournament was Ben S.

The Football season is fast approaching and we have five games lined up for both the upper and lower school teams. Training is on a Thursday after school and I would like to see as many students there as possible.
