Celebrating students’ GCSE Achievements
Students at St Mark’s, Bath were celebrating today having received their GCSE results after years of hard work and studying.
Amongst the many success stories, notable achievements included:
- Toby Whitehead who secured a total of 13 GCSEs, 12 at A*-A and a C grade in A Level Maths
- Joe Alvis-Pearson who also secured a total of 13 GCSEs, 9.5 at A*-A
- Amy James secured a total of 13 GCSEs, 7.5 at A*-A
- Miguel Roe who gained 12 GCSEs, 10 at A*-A and
- Lizzie Norman who also achieved 12 GCSEs, 11 at A*-B
The results come at the end of a positive academic year for the school in Bath following an impressive set of A level results last week and having been rated ‘good’ across all categories by Ofsted.
St Mark’s has ambitious and exciting plans for the future which include the launch of a new brand and vision from September to celebrate their personalised approach to learning and take them to the next stage of their development.
The school’s Headteacher, Barnaby Ash commented, “We are proud of our student’s achievements today and wish them the very best of luck for their exciting future plans and look forward to welcoming many back to our Sixth Form in September. The pace of change and progress at St Mark’s is accelerating and we are looking forward to sharing our new vision, values and brand with our many valued partners at the start of the new term as a sign of our ambitious plans for the future and commitment to the local young people of Bath.”
