Festival Fun!
St Mark’s School was a hive of creative activity last Saturday as we opened our doors to the busiest art and craft day ever!
Local children joined us for a day of making and creating as we explored new territories; stepped into the unknown and created species from far-off planets in a special space-themed event.
Children (and the odd adult!) made alien clay critters, space-gunge smoothies, space globes, alien heads and mask-making
There was also a fabulous SMSA café, serving light lunches and refreshments allowing parents and visitors to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with some home-baked treats whilst the children enjoy the activities on offer.
All this AND the Open Studios exhibition of art work from Year 7 students through to our Year 12, A Level photography students.
Thank you to our wonderful SMSA for their hard work and support and also to Ms Balfre, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Wiltshire for their artistic creativeness!
