New Sixth Open Evening

The New Sixth is the joint provision for the sixth forms of St Mark’s Church of England School and Saint Gregory’s Catholic College. All students at St Mark’s have a place in The New Sixth provided they achieve the GCSE grades required for their chosen courses.

The New Sixth provides a unique post-16 experience in the state sector in Bath and North East Somerset; a high-quality sixth form education with outstanding pastoral support and a wide range of enrichment activities, inspired by the Christian values that our students have been used to at St Mark’s. We hope that students will feel very much at home in The New Sixth, but it will also be different as we recognise that we are preparing our young adults and students will therefore enjoy more space and freedom, while still benefitting from the structure and ethos of a school sixth form environment.

You are very welcome to come and see your new sixth form, meet the teachers, and find out more about the courses that are available. Our Open Evening will be held on Thursday 7 May, 6.30pm – 9.00pm.
