Larkhall Festival at St Mark’s
Get Crafty at St Mark’s for this year’s Larkhall Open Studios
It’s a tea party with a difference at St Mark’s this Saturday, as staff and students put on a range of themed arts and craft projects for children ahead of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on the Village Green on Sunday.
From creative masks and head wear to ‘eat me – drink me’ tea cups, milkshakes and cake decorating, there is plenty for the children to get involved in whilst parents can enjoy a cup of tea in the St Mark’s Cafe.
This year, the school have put together an amazing exhibition of photographs of Larkhall (thanks to Bath in Time and Paul De’Ath), along with the children of Year 7 and Year 4 at St Saviour’s as a collaborative project to capture Larkhall In Time. The children present images of Larkhall past and present for a walk down memory lane and one or two surprises!!
Also featured is the Open Studios Art Trail exhibition of Year 7 work, created with the help of Dawn Lippiatt and Simon Hodges. A bright and colourful look at St Mark’s through the eyes of their Year 7s.
Doors open at 11 until 3pm. All welcome.
