The Larkhall Bake Off!

St Mark’s welcomed pupils from St Saviour’s Infants School this week for the start of an amazing collaborative project.

St Mark’s GCSE Food Technology students will be working alongside children from all years at St Saviour’s to bake, decorate and package over 200 miniature Christmas cakes to donate to Genesis Trust this Christmas.

The hard work began on Tuesday at St Mark’s School when Year 2 pupils joined us to bake the cakes ready for Reception classes to come along next week for the intricate icing decorations!

All ingredients are Fairtrade (where possible) and have been bought with donations from St Saviour’s Infant School’s families. The project is being run by Head of Technology at St Mark’s School, Zoe Balfre, alongside Headteacher of St Saviour’s, Ed Harker.
